Biography
Dr. Puac-Polanco is an assistant professor in the Department of Radiology, Radiation Oncology, and Medical Physics and a Neuroradiologist and Spine Intervention Radiologist in the Department of Medical Imaging at the Ottawa Hospital since 2024. He is also a young scientist associated with the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute and the Research Lead in the Diagnostic Neuroradiology Section at TOH. He receives research protected time and has won multiple awards for his research at national and international meetings. He already has multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals and has a very promising research career.
Dr. Puac-Polanco is also passionate about teaching. He is the supervisor of the Neuroradiology Resident Rotation. Recently, he obtained the Best Staff Neuroradiology Teacher of the Year award.
