Biography
Dr. Raman Verma is an assistant professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Ottawa. Dr. Verma is actively involved in all aspects of breast imaging and intervention at the Women’s Breast Health Centre in the Department of Medical Imaging at The Ottawa Hospital. He is the Champlain Regional Breast Imaging Lead for the Ontario Breast Screening Program.
Dr. Verma has a strong interest in medical education. He is the immediate past Diagnostic Radiology Program Director and sits on the Undergraduate Medical Education Admissions Committee in the Faculty of Medicine. He has given several invited presentations at national and international conferences and has published on clinical and medical education topics. He has won several teaching and Education Leadership awards including the Professional Association of Residents of Ontario (PARO) Award in 2020.
