Biography
Dr. Ryan Foster is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Ottawa and a musculoskeletal radiologist in the Department of Medical Imaging at The Ottawa Hospital. He is the x-ray modality lead and the Musculoskeletal Radiology Section Lead for radiofrequency ablation and oversees the Bone Mineral Densitometry programs at our regional partner sites.
He has published articles on image-guided MSK interventions and gadolinium safety. He has presented at national and international conferences on topics of quality control in radiology, subtle osseous pelvic pathology and hamstring syndrome. He has been awarded Certificates of Merit by the RSNA and ARRS for some of his educational exhibits. He was awarded Staff MSK teacher of the Year award in 2022.
