Biography

Dr. Prabhakar is an assistant professor in the Department of Radiology, Radiation Oncology and Medical Physics and a cardiothoracic radiologist in the Department of Medical Imaging at The Ottawa Hospital and the Unviersity of Ottawa Heart Institute since 2024. He is the Research Lead in the Cardiothoracic Imaging Section and the co-director of the Cardiothoracic Imaging Fellowship program. He is also on the Research Ethics Board at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute.

Dr. Prabakhar actively seeks educational, leadership and research opportunities and is a rising star in the cardiothoracic imaging section.
