Biography
Dr. Susan Peddle is an assistant professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Ottawa. As part of the Breast Imaging team, she practices both clinical and interventional breast imaging in the Department of Medical Imaging at The Ottawa Hospital, working closely with colleagues from Surgery, Oncology and Pathology to optimize patient care.
Dr. Peddle is the Breast Imaging Resident Supervisor and has a special interest in both resident and medical student teaching and mentorship. She participates in CME courses as a lecturer and serves on the Women in Radiology Leadership Conference CME committee, a CRF/CAR sponsored annual event.
Dr. Peddle is a recognized leader at The Ottawa Hospital. She serves as Co-chair of Women Physician Leadership Committee and is actively involved in the Medical Staff Health and Wellness Committee has participated in two corporate working groups: Workplace Design and Ergonomics for Medical Staff and Accessibility and Accommodation for Medical Staff. She won the Women’s Leadership Award in the Department of Radiology in 2025 and 2022.
Dr. Peddle strives to provide excellent clinical care through honest and thorough communication and consultation. She has received several Guardian Angel Awards from The Ottawa Hospital.
