National Indigenous Peoples Day

Celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day with us!

Free, drop-in event

Organized in partnership with CHEO, The Ottawa Hospital, the Ontario Native Women’s Association (ONWA) and Tungasuvvingat Inuit, this event will honour the rich cultures, traditions, and contributions of Indigenous Peoples.

Attendees will be invited to take part in a round dance accompanied by traditional drumming. Children and adults alike will enjoy Inuit games, craft activities, cultural teachings and community information tables.

Bannock and refreshments will be served.

This event is open to all—staff, faculty, students, and members of the public are warmly invited to take part in this day of reflection, sharing, and community.
