Event details

Walk the land. Learn the medicines. Listen to the stories.

The Faculty of Medicine invites faculty members, learners, and support staff to join us for a Medicine Walk & Talking Circle. An opportunity to connect with the land and with Indigenous knowledge through guided teaching and reflection.

Led by Elders and Knowledge Keepers, the Medicine Walk will take participants through the Medicinal Garden and surrounding grounds of Roger Guindon Hall, where they will learn about Indigenous plant medicines and the stories and teachings that carry their significance. The walk runs from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM.

The walk will be followed by a Talking Circle in the RGN Atrium, also facilitated by the Elders and Knowledge Keepers. This portion of the program offers a space for participants to reflect on what they've learned, engage in dialogue, and take part in shared learning together.

Registration is open to faculty members, learners, and support staff.

Registration is required. Please register before October 6, 4:59pm EST
