Truth and Reconciliation

Event details

Staff, faculty and learners from affiliated institutions are invited to participate in this Truth and Reconciliation event.

The University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine, in partnership with The Ottawa Hospital and CHEO, invites members of the community to a gathering marking Truth and Reconciliation Day.

Speakers will share perspectives on cultural safety, humility, what reconciliation means to them, and how they work towards it.

Participants will also have an opportunity to meet local Indigenous vendors and purchase orange shirts.

An Orange Shirt Day group photo will take place in the Atrium at 12:45 p.m.

Bannock and Three Sisters soup will be available afterward in the CHEO cafeteria.
