Two Courses. One Goal. Your Success.

The University of Ottawa's Department of Radiology, Radiation Oncology and Medical Physics is pleased to welcome you to the 17th Annual Ottawa Radiology Review Course (ORRC), returning in 2027 with an exciting new format!

Designed to better support radiology residents and practicing radiologists preparing for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Diagnostic Radiology certification examinations, the ORRC has been restructured into two comprehensive, fully virtual courses, offering focused preparation for both the Written and Oral Examinations.

Course 1: Written Examination Preparation | March 1–5, 2027

A five-day virtual course featuring expert-led lectures, comprehensive reviews of key diagnostic radiology topics, and full-length practice MCQ and SAQ examinations to strengthen knowledge, clinical reasoning, and examination readiness.

Course 2: Oral Examination Preparation | April 7–9, 2027

A three-day virtual course focused on developing diagnostic interpretation, case presentation, and communication skills through targeted lectures, interactive Hot Seat sessions, and individualized Mock Oral Examinations with experienced faculty.

With the flexibility to register for one or both courses, participants can tailor their learning experience to their individual examination preparation needs. Both courses offer opportunities to learn from experienced radiology faculty, engage in examination-focused activities, and access educational resources to support continued learning.

Whether you are preparing for the Written Examination, the Oral Examination, or both, the Ottawa Radiology Review Course remains committed to providing high-quality, comprehensive, and accessible radiology education to help you prepare with confidence.
