A local high schooler’s journey to the United Kingdom and beyond

High school student Raneem Salah turned a Grade 9 passion into real research after Professor Marc Ekker welcomed her into his uOttawa lab. Her award-winning zebrafish work has taken her to national stages, the London Youth Science Forum, and soon to Expo-Sciences International 2025.
