Immigration Canada

Details

This event offers a timely and critical discussion on how pluralist inclusion is shaped, challenged, and experienced in immigrant-receiving societies.

The book investigates the space between insider and outsider status, asking: who is conditionally included or excluded, and why? What are the consequences of such conditionality for citizenship, belonging, access to material resources, and cultural well-being?

The conversation will center around the Canadian context — often hailed as a model immigration nation — while inviting broader reflection on migration, citizenship, and social cohesion.
