How to avoid the most common writing mistakes

This workshop will help you write more clearly and concisely. This is much-needed skill, not just at university but also in the workplace.

Artificial intelligence has not erased the need to be able to write – and think – on your own. We will talk about the uses and abuses of ChatGPT, Gemini, and other forms of artificial intelligence during the workshop.

Who’s doing the training? Madelaine Drohan is a senior fellow at the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs. She is the former Canadian correspondent for The Economist and a former European correspondent for The Globe and Mail. She knows how to identify and fix writing mistakes because she has made them herself at some point in her career.
