PROTÈGE QV (Promotion des Technologies Garantes de l'Environnement et de la Qualité de Vie)

The internship is coming to an end, and yet I remember that before I started I was afraid it would seem too long. During pre-course training, we were asked to write a letter for the course, with questions about our concerns, enthusiasm and learning. To tell the truth, this letter was full of concerns that are now proving to be unfounded. I'm glad I had the opportunity to take part.

Recently, I've been focusing on the communications aspect of Protège QV. There has been a marked improvement in social networks and publications. Their recognition is at an all-time high. It's gratifying to see convincing results after all the research and elaboration over the last few weeks. It seemed almost impossible to perceive any evolution, as the training was done remotely, but the results and statistics on social networks proved otherwise.

Protège QV changed my perception of things and gave me a new vision of a country whose concerns, difficulties and aspirations I was unaware of. This NGO fights for fundamental human rights and those very rights that are often underestimated or even ignored in Africa, such as misinformation, internet safety, the marginalization of women journalists, etc. I also learned that on the one hand, an NGO can have all the necessary resources, but it's important to have visibility to be considered, heard and taken into account. I'd recommend anyone with spare time to apply as a volunteer! It would help the organization.
