Honorary Senior Fellow David Zussman wins Order of Canada

Graduate School of Public and International Affairs (GSPIA) is delighted to congratulate Honorary Senior Fellow David Zussman on receiving the Order of Canada in December 2021 “for his contributions to public service management and policymaking, as a scholar, public servant and sought-after advisor.”

Mr. Zussman is a former Director of GSPIA, where he held the Jarislowsky Chair in Public Sector Management. He previously also served as Dean of the Telfer School of Management at uOttawa, President of the Public Policy Forum, and Executive Vice President of EKOS Research Associates. He also led the transition team for Prime Minister Chrétien after the 1993 election, served as Assistant Secretary for Program Review and Machinery of Government and Commissioner of the Public Service Commission. In addition to maintaining his connection to GSPIA as an Honorary Senior Fellow, Mr. Zussman is currently an Adjunct Professor at the School of Public Administration at the University of Victoria.
