Nicole Racine
The Faculty of Social Sciences is proud to congratulate Professor Nicole Racine of the School of Psychology, recipient of the 2025 Early Career Researcher Award in the Social Sciences, Humanities, Fine Arts and Literature category, presented by the Office of the Vice-President, Research and Innovation.

In the official letter announcing the award, the selection committee noted that it was impressed by the scope of Professor Racine’s achievements and recognized her as fully embodying the research excellence that the award is intended to highlight and celebrate. 

This prestigious award includes a $10,000 grant to support the salary of a graduate student under her supervision, as well as a partial reduction in administrative responsibilities and teaching load, as determined by the faculty. 

This distinction highlights Professor Racine’s outstanding contribution to research in her field and her strong commitment to mentoring the next generation of researchers.
