Among the featured speakers are three University of Ottawa professors, including two from the Faculty of Social Sciences (FSS): Serena Corsini-Munt, Associate Professor in the School of Psychology, and Sophie Lebel, Professor in the School of Psychology. Jennifer Dimoff from the Telfer School of Management will also participate.
Dr. Serena Corsini-Munt will present on the mental health and relational impacts of chronic pelvic pain, while Dr. Sophie Lebel will discuss psychological interventions for women living after cancer, including strategies to address fear of cancer recurrence.
Their participation highlights the strength and breadth of research within FSS. With more than 250 professors and 10,000 students across nine academic units, the faculty is home to a vibrant interdisciplinary community committed to research that addresses contemporary social issues and produces local and global impact.
