Alice Wilson Awards are awarded to three women of outstanding academic qualifications in the Arts and Humanities, Social Sciences or Science who are entering a career in scholarship or research at the postdoctoral level.

This $1,000 scholarship supports Undergraduate Indigenous Students with excellent academic standings and enrolled in one of the programs offered at the School of Political Studies.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the passing of our former colleague and friend, David Welch, on August 30, 2022. Our sympathies go out to his wife Gabriela and daughter Gabrielle, a brilliant graduate of our Master's in Social Work program.
