About the event
The next meeting of the Library's French-language comic book club will take place in person on:
- Tuesday, November 25, at 3 p.m., in room MRT 141
The theme of this session will be “2SLBGTQIA+ pride.”
Don't miss this opportunity to broaden your horizons and take part in engaging discussions in a friendly, informal Francophone setting. It's the perfect opportunity to enjoy some great reading... and, above all, meet some great people!

Le bleu est une couleur chaude has been loosely adapted into a live action film under the title La Vie d’Adèle. The DVD is available in the MRT collection. J’aime les filles has been adapted into a short animated film by the NFB (8 minutes). |
Practical information:
- This activity is free and open to the entire university community.
- This activity is presented in French only. All Francophones and Francophiles are welcome!
- This activity is presented in a “drop-in” format. No registration is needed, and you do not need to attend all sessions.
- You don’t need to have read all the books to participate. You are also welcome to attend if you are looking for reading suggestions!
- All selected books can be borrowed out using the Library's OMNI catalogue. Several titles are also available at the Ottawa Public Library and the Gatineau Public Library. Some titles have also been adapted into alternative formats (e.g., TV series, films, animated shorts, etc.). Please check the full program for details.
