Ready to build with AI? Join the Library AI Buildathon, team up to turn a campus challenge into an AI-powered solution, and compete for a chance to win $150 CAD!
Description of the event
Work in teams to prototype an AI-powered solution for campus life in under 40 minutes, then pitch your idea to the judges!
Please bring your own laptop to the event.
How it works
- Team size: Participants are encouraged to participate as a team (3–5 participants per team). No team? No problem! The Library will match solo participants.
- The challenge: Build an app prototype that addresses a student or campus-life issue assigned by the event organizers.
- Your prototype: Your solution can be developed as code or a mock-up.
- AI tools: Feel free to use any AI tools during development.
- Prize: $150 CAD!
Everybody is welcome! There are no minimum technical skills required to participate.
No formal registration is required
Pitch your idea
After the building period, each team will have 5minutes to present their prototype to the judges and pitch their idea to win!
