Save the date for CLTS Anniversary

CLTS @ 15 / 25

For the past 25 years, the University of Ottawa brought together a global community of thought leadership who shaped technology law, ethics and policy for Canada and the world. In 2009, the research group established by trailblazers Ian R. Kerr and Michael Geist in the late 1990’s became the University of Ottawa Centre for Law, Technology and Society.

Over a quarter of century, the group became Canada’s premier research hub, and a global leader advancing research and policy in an interdisciplinary setting for the benefit of Canadians and the world.

We are thrilled to invite our alumni, friends and partners to a reunion of our interdisciplinary community in Ottawa this Fall to celebrate 25 years of law, ethics and policy at the University of Ottawa and the 15th anniversary of the Centre for Law, Technology and Society

To mark this occasion, on October 3rd, we will bring together generations of the sharpest, most thoughtful people for a hybrid day of conversations and reunions, bringing together current and former members of our community around their many interests. The day will conclude with a fundraising cocktail gala.

We hope to see many of our alumni, friends, partners, supporters and the entire technology policy community for this meaningful celebration. Let’s honour the past 25 years and imagine what the next 25 could bring.

Pre-register now to receive the schedule and registration details when they become available later this summer.

Do not hesitate to reach out to the Centre’s team if you want to share ideas, photos, or would like to organize side activities over the weekend! The Centre will be able to share this with our community.
