Workshops

Our interactive online workshops, which we host in collaboration with the Library, explore assistive technologies and strategies to help you in reading, writing, and note-taking. Whether you’re looking to stay organized, improve your reading comprehension, or study more efficiently, these workshops are for you.

During the workshop, we’ll cover popular assistive technologies, including:

  • Read&Write, a literacy support tool featuring text-to-speech and designed to improve a user’s reading, writing, and comprehension,
  • Goodnotes, a powerful app for digital handwriting, marking up PDFs, and audio transcription,
  • OneNote, a flexible note-taking app for organizing, tagging and collaborating on notes across devices,
  • Otter.ai, an AI-powered transcription tool that captures lectures, meetings, and conversations in real time.

We’ll also review practical ways to improve your note-taking and boost your productivity and retention to help you study smarter, not harder.

Please note that workshops are not offered during the spring/summer term.
