Create with emerging and immersive technologies
Design and create projects using emerging and immersive technologies with INNOVA and uOttawa Library.
Subject
- Develop initiatives using cutting-edge technologies (Immersive VR and 360° media, holographic technologies, interactive classrooms, light board, podcast and digital platforms, etc.)
- Gain access to new technologies (free of charge)
Activities
- Design and produce projects that incorporate new technologies
- Produce examples of teaching and learning innovations
Outcomes
- Deliverables: podcasts, videos, activity guides, interactive sessions or multimedia productions
- New skills: digital literacy, digital innovation, teaching and learning, technological support, creative problem-solving

Fundraising for a Local Elementary School
Join a project with a local elementary school to help raise funds for a new playground structure, while gaining hands-on experience in fundraising, community engagement, communications, and project management.
Subject
- Raise funds to help the school acquire a new playground structure for its schoolyard.
- Design and implement a fundraising campaign.
Activities
- Plan, organize, and coordinate fundraising initiatives.
- Seek support from potential donors (businesses, foundations, families, and community members).
- Develop promotional materials and communications to support the campaign.
Outcomes
- Deliverables: completed fundraising campaigns, organized events, promotional materials produced, and funds raised.
