HUBBUB 2026
HUBBUB 2026

About this event

HUBBUB is a showcase of collaboration that highlights projects born from the collective genius of our community, City of Ottawa staff, and the students and professors at the University of Ottawa, Carleton University, Algonquin College, and Collège La Cité.

Projects respond to the priorities identified in the City of Ottawa’s Community Safety and Well-Being (CSWB) Plan and the City of Ottawa’s Strategic Plan 2023-2026.

From concepts to tangible solutions, HUBBUB showcases and celebrates the collaborative spirit that defines our city. Each project highlights our dedication to a vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable Ottawa.

Following the awards ceremony, attendees are invited to an interactive panel:“How Does Community–Campus Engagement Enhance Our Communities? Lessons from CityStudio Ottawa and Thunder Bay.”

This discussion will bring to life insights from three years of CityStudio in Ottawa and Thunder Bay, exploring how community–campus engagement can advance community safety and well-being priorities.
