Unlocking Potential:

Help make access to post-secondary education, and the valuable experiences it entails, available and affordable to all students.

Access to post-secondary education can and should be the great equalizer for Canada, and nowhere is this more evident than at the University of Ottawa. Students who are the first in their families to attend university make up a significant portion of our graduating classes, and we boast the highest enrolment of aboriginal students among all Ontario universities.

Your support of uOttawa will have a clear impact on the future of Canada’s youth. By donating to Helping Students you will help to level the playing field for young people for whom a university education is out of reach through financial aid and scholarship programs. You will also provide them with transformative experiences to prepare them for the professional world, and to improve the country in which they live, through initiatives like the Michaëlle Jean Centre for Global and Community Engagement’s volunteer work-experience programs.
