What are your main responsibilities in your position within Information Technology?
In my position within Information Technology, my main responsibilities are to rigorously monitor IT assets, perform regular inventory checks, schedule visits to research laboratories via a booking system in coordination with researchers, update documentation on asset management processes and procedures, and ensure that all equipment complies with university policies and standards.
What skills have you developed since working in Information Technology?
Since working in Information Technology, I have developed several key skills, including critical thinking, by regularly analyzing situations related to IT asset management and finding effective and sustainable solutions to the problems encountered. I have also strengthened my autonomy by proactively managing my daily tasks and taking initiatives to optimize existing processes.
Why did you apply for this position in Information Technology?
I applied for this position in Information Technology because it aligns with my professional interests and technical skills. This constantly evolving field particularly motivates me because it offers stimulating challenges and opportunities for continuous learning. I also wanted to actively contribute to the effective management of IT resources while working in a structured and collaborative environment. This position represents an opportunity for me to put my skills to good use while continuing my professional development within a dynamic team.
How do you find working within your Information Technology group?
I find working within my Information Technology group very enjoyable. Communication is always open and we are really well supported, both in our daily tasks and when we put forward initiatives. What I also appreciate is that it goes beyond our group; collaboration with other teams is just as good, which makes the work environment very pleasant and motivating.
Has working in Information Technology changed your career path or helped you better define what you want to do after graduation?
Change is a big word, but yes, working in Information Technology has been one of the experiences that has guided me and helped me better understand and shape my career path. Beyond technical skills and professional tasks, working in Information Technology has certainly introduced me to a new work environment that I particularly enjoy, and which has positively influenced my thinking about the next steps in my career.

What is the best part of working in Information Technology?
In my opinion, the best part of working in Information Technology is interacting with team members. These daily interactions are a source of inspiration and learning, and they make every day exciting. I particularly enjoy being able to collaborate with passionate colleagues, which helps me grow professionally while creating a real team spirit.
How do you find working in hybrid mode? Which do you prefer?
Working in hybrid mode seems both enjoyable and practical to me. However, in my position, I often have to be on site to manage inventory, which is also rewarding, as it gives me the opportunity to talk face-to-face with fascinating teachers.
