The Office of the Chief Risk Officer is thrilled to announce that Elisa Koene, senior specialist, occupational health and safety, has been named to Canadian Occupational Safety magazine’s Top Women in Safety list.

As an advocate for workplace safety, Elisa has consistently demonstrated leadership, expertise and a passion for creating a culture of safety, supporting the Projects and Construction team at Facilities.

Elisa has stood out as a pioneer in safety, breaking barriers and influencing and setting new standards for excellence in construction safety and project management.

This recognition serves as an inspiration, highlighting the importance of diversity and inclusion in occupational safety. Elisa’s achievements are fostering a culture where talent and dedication are celebrated regardless of gender.
