Transform an organizational need into a learning opportunity.

Student reading
Propose a project to University of Ottawa students and transform an organizational need into a learning opportunity through Student-Led Individually Created Courses (SLICCs).

You'll benefit from in-depth analysis, recommendations and established deliverables, all while helping students gain academic credit and practical experience.

A winning formula for all!

What are Student-Led Individually Created Courses

A Student-Led Individually Created Course is a self-directed course that provides a unique educational opportunity in which students design and direct their own learning experiences. Whether a student is passionate about research, community projects, or creative endeavours, a self-directed course will allow them to tailor their education to fit their own interests and career goals. With the support of a professor, doctoral candidates and online resources, students can create a course that is as unique as they are.
