Seasonal flu vaccine
Get ready to fight the flu!
Oct 26, 2026 to Mar 31, 2027 — 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Event details
Flu vaccines are available Monday to Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., with additional appointments available on November 5, 13, and 20.
Come prepared for your appointment:
- Bring your student card and health insurance card (OHIP, RAMQ, or UHIP for international students).
- Wear a short-sleeved shirt to make vaccination quick and easy.
Walk-ins are welcome, but students with appointments will be given priority.
Why is it a good idea to get the seasonal flu vaccine?
The seasonal flu:
- Is a contagious illness that infects the nose, throat and lungs
- Causes symptoms such as fever, chills, headaches, muscle or body aches, fatigue, coughing and sometimes sneezing, a runny/stuffy nose, and diarrhea and vomiting
- Results in symptoms that arise more quickly, and are more severe, than those of the common cold
- Lasts one to two weeks
The flu can lead to more health complications, including pneumonia, sinus and ear infections, than the common cold. The flu is also known to worsen preexisting chronic conditions, such as asthma or chronic heart conditions.
