Tom Chazelle Schulze (International Development and Globalization / Master’s in Political Science) stands out for his academic rigor and accelerated academic trajectory, as well as his strong engagement in student leadership and journalism. Through his work with La Rotonde and his involvement in student associations, he has contributed to fostering critical dialogue, amplifying francophone voices, and strengthening democratic participation on campus. His commitment to intellectual engagement and public discourse reflects the values at the heart of the Faculty.

Angelica Kalubiaka (Master of Arts in Public and International Affairs) has distinguished herself through her remarkable international engagement and dedication to public service. Her journey—marked by resilience, academic excellence, and a strong commitment to mentorship—demonstrates the power of perseverance and leadership in advancing global dialogue.

Together, these valedictorians represent the diversity, talent, and ambition that define the Faculty of Social Sciences. Their achievements reflect not only individual excellence but also a shared commitment to understanding the complexities of our world, celebrating the people within it, and inspiring meaningful change.
As they prepare to address their peers at convocation, they carry forward the Faculty’s mission: to inspire practical solutions to humanity’s challenges and to serve as catalysts for human change.
