We have thoughtfully crafted the Entrepreneurship, Creativity and Social Innovation microprogram at the Faculty of Arts to cater to our makers, shakers and risk-takers! The proposed sequence of courses will deliver a balance of theory and practice through meaningful learning opportunities, coupled with valuable resources and support for you as a future entrepreneur and innovator.

Our Entrepreneur in Residence will be there to help with networking skills and other valuable advice along the way. You will learn how creativity and entrepreneurship can be blended to create exciting opportunities and make a real difference in the world. This microprogram’s fixed sequence has been carefully structured and can be integrated into all BA and BSc programs in the Faculty of Arts for those looking to turn their passion into purpose.

After completing your undergraduate studies with a microprogram in Entrepreneurship, Creativity and Social Innovation, you have two main paths to consider: continuing your education or entering the workforce.

You may choose to pursue graduate studies, such as a Master’s degree. Many majors that can be combined with this microprogram offer graduate studies programs.

Alternatively, you can move directly into the job market. Your degree can lead to a variety of careers in fields such as manager, entrepreneur, and innovator. These opportunities allow you to apply your skills in leadership, organization, and contingency planning.

SAFA represents the interests of undergraduate students of the Faculty of Arts within the UOSU, the Faculty, the University, the community, and the provincial and federal governments.
