Event description

Estelle Ethier, Chief Executive Officer, Institut du Savoir Montfort (ISM), and her team will join us to present the ISM and its research priorities in order to develop collaborations with members of the Faculty. Éthier and her colleagues at the ISM are located at Montfort Hospital, one of several hospitals affiliated with the University of Ottawa. Montfort is Ontario’s Francophone academic hospital, offering exemplary person-centred care. The hospital serves over 1.2 million people in Eastern Ontario, in both official languages. The ISM is a leader in Francophone research and education in the country. Its unique model, based on collaboration between researchers, educators, and andragogy experts, facilitates the creation-transmission continuum of knowledge. Their ultimate goal is to improve the world of health and the health of the world. Some of you are already working closely with the ISM, but there is potential to develop more synergies and collaborations around our shared priorities: innovation, Francophone minority populations, and diverse, inclusive, and equitable education and research practices. Come and meet the ISM team to learn more about the collaboration and affiliation opportunities they offer.
