Mensah Hemedzo is the Deputy Director at the Conseil des écoles catholiques du Centre‑Est in Ottawa, Canada. He holds a PhD in French, General and Comparative Literature from the University of Strasbourg and is also an author and speaker. His book ''Dites-leur que je suis Québécois'' (Éditions de l’Homme, 2019) offers a powerful testimony on the experiences of immigrant teachers in Canada.

Originally from Togo and established in Canada since 2009, Mensah Hemedzo’s work sits at the intersection of education, literature, and migration studies, combining reflection and action to advance equity and inclusion in the teaching profession.
