Bibliography

Lionel Briand has held various engineering, academic, and leadership positions across seven countries. Over the past 30 years, he has led numerous collaborative research projects with companies in the automotive, satellite, aerospace, energy, financial, and legal sectors. He currently holds a Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in "Intelligent Software Dependability and Compliance" and serves as the director of Lero, the Research Ireland Centre for Software.

Lionel was elevated to IEEE Fellow and ACM Fellow for his contributions to software engineering. He received the IEEE Computer Society Harlan Mills Award, the ACM SIGSOFT Outstanding Research Award, and the IEEE Reliability Society Engineer-of-the-Year Award. He was elected as a fellow of the Royal Society of Canada and a member of Academia Europaea, the European Academy of Science.
