Lunch and learn with Professor Michelle Lalonde

The Groupe de recherche sur la formation et les pratiques en santé et service social en contexte francophone minoritaire (GReFoPS) will be holding its next lunch and learn on March 3 from noon to 1 p.m. at LEES-FHS 413B, and remotely on MS Teams. Professor Michelle Lalonde will be giving a presentation titled “La rétention en soins infirmiers: vos questions, nos réponses!”

The presentation will be interactive, and you’ll have the opportunity to ask Professor Lalonde your questions.
Support for this presentation is provided by the uOttawa component of the Consortium national de formation en santé (CNFS). They’ll be supplying lunch for the first 20 in-person attendees who fill out the SurveyMonkey registration form, including the dietary preferences section.
If you receive confirmation from us that you’ll be getting a lunch box, please arrive 15 minutes early at LEES-FHS 413 so we can give it to you.

Michelle Lalonde
Full professor, School of Nursing
Michelle Lalonde is a full professor at the School of Nursing, under the Faculty of Health Sciences, and a member of the uOttawa-based GreFoPS. She’s also a researcher at the Institut du Savoir Montfort and holder of the University of Ottawa/Institut du Savoir Montfort Joint Chair on the Health of Francophones in Ontario, part of uOttawa’s Collège des chaires de recherche sur le monde francophone. Lalonde’s research program focuses on how prepared nursing students are for practice and how they’re transitioning into the profession. This includes topics related to nurse retention.
