Research Day in Health Sciences brings together students and professors from the Interdisciplinary School of Health Sciences (ISHS), the School of Human Kinetics (SHK), and the School of Nursing (SON) to celebrate excellence in student-led research.
Event details
More than 100 undergraduate, master’s, and PhD students will showcase their work through research presentations and posters, providing a valuable opportunity to share ideas, highlight achievements, and connect with peers and faculty from across the discipline.

Dr. Nancy Edwards
Keynote speaker
Dr. Nancy Edwards was a full professor in the School of Nursing, University of Ottawa. She was director of the Community Health Research Unit (1994–2009); director of the Population Health PhD program (2000–2002, 2015–2016); principal scientist, Institute of Population Health; senior scientist, Élisabeth Bruyère Research Institute; and academic consultant, City of Ottawa (Public Health Services). Nancy held a CHSRF/CIHR Chair Award in Nursing (2000–2012). She was scientific director for the CIHR Institute of Population and Public Health (2008–16). She held a conjoint faculty appointment at the University of Newcastle (Faculty of Education), Australia (2016–2020).
