FTX 302

The legal landscape surrounding Indigenous rights in Canada continues to evolve rapidly, with significant implications for governments, industry, and Indigenous communities alike.

This event brings together Kerry Young and Patricia Lawrence of First Peoples Law for a timely and in-depth discussion of recent developments in Indigenous law. Drawing on their extensive litigation and advisory experience, the speakers will examine emerging jurisprudence on key issues, including the reconciliation of Aboriginal title with fee simple land interests and evolving interpretations of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP) in Canadian law.
