Connect, contribute, and grow together.

Located on the outdoor terrace of the third floor of FTX, in the Spirit Garden you will find the four sacred medicines: tobacco, sage, sweetgrass, and cedar. Tobacco, the first medicine given by the Creator, is a symbol of offering and gratitude: “Always through tobacco,” as the saying goes.

Restoring the Spirit Garden is about more than planting; it’s a meaningful way to decolonize our environment, make space for reflection, and build relationships grounded in respect. Everyone is invited to participate in planting and learning, regardless of gardening experience.

Following the garden renewal, we’ll gather for a potluck lunch. This is a chance to share food, stories, and laughter in the spirit of community. Please bring a dish and indicate your contribution on the shared spreadsheet.
