The Research Support Unit (RSU), now under the Centre for Innovation in Medical Education, has stayed true to its roots in AIME and is dedicated to supporting your research and scholarship in medical education.

History

In 2008 the Academy of Innovation in Medical Education (AIME) was founded by Dr. Meridith Marks to serve the needs of medical education researchers in the University of Ottawa community. AIME was a small group of research assistants, medical educators, and researchers, who worked to assist with and promote medical education research. Since then, the community has grown. The success of AIME produced the Department of Innovation in Medical Education (DIME), a home for PhD researchers who work alongside MDs to further medical education research.
