Biography

Dr. Jared Sheridan is a Pediatric Cardiologist with specialized training in advanced heart failure and transplantation. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Immunology from the University of British Columbia and a Master of Science in Experimental Medicine from McGill University. He completed his medical degree at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2018.Following his Pediatrics residency in Ottawa (2021), Dr. Sheridan pursued a Pediatric Cardiology fellowship at the Stollery Children’s Hospital in Edmonton, completed in 2024. He then undertook an additional year of subspecialty training in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplantation, finishing in 2025.

Dr. Sheridan joined CHEO’s Division of Cardiology as a staff cardiologist in 2025. His clinical and research interests include pediatric heart failure, antibody-mediated rejection, and innovative approaches to medical education. He is particularly passionate about using home 3D printing technologies to enhance learning for residents, patients, and families.
