These are some important dates you should keep in mind:

  • March 13, 2026 – Last day to submit online application
  • March 23, 2026 – Deadline to receive documents for application
  • Late March to mid‑April 2026 – Invitations to interviews are sent out
  • Early to mid‑April 2026 – Interview dates
  • Late April 2026 – Admission offers are sent out

Note: the admission requirements listed below are minimum requirements and do not guarantee admission to the program.

Path #1

The Honours BSc in Ophthalmic Medical Technology is intended for students who have completed the first two years of undergraduate studies in another program. Eligible students may apply to enter directly into the third year of this specialized two-year program.

Path #2

Students interested in continuing into the third year of the program must successfully complete an interview as part of the admission process. For current students, the program office will initiate a communication campaign to provide detailed information about the application process, including timelines and requirements.

  • Duration of the program: 4 years (12 terms).
  • Program offered on a full-time basis only.
  • You can get an overview of the program’s structure with its course sequence.
  • The first two years of this program are offered in English and in French. The last two years are only offered in English.
