Biography

I received an MSc in Applied Geology in 2012 from the University Savoie Mont Blanc (France), worked for five years as a hydrogeology consultant, and received a second MSc in Hydrogeology in 2017 from the University of Montpellier (France). I then pursued a PhD at UQAM (Canada), which I completed in 2022, on the characterization of the impacts of climate change on groundwater resources. I started exploring how groundwater resources can support climate adaptation through Nature-based Solutions as a postdoctoral scientist at EPFL (Switzerland) and then as a grant-funded researcher at UQAM. I joined the University of Ottawa as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in 2026. My research program aims to position hydrogeology as both an indicator of climate-driven changes and a quantitative foundation for climate adaptation. My research uses quantitative approaches that combine field measurements, existing databases, and remote sensing data to characterize hydrosystems and groundwater-dependent natural and anthropogenic systems, together with numerical modelling to explore future conditions.
