Economics

Economics provides you with a way to examine how individuals and society make choices in a world where resources are limited. It focuses on the production, distribution and consumption of goods and services.

This program draws on economic analysis and various disciplines to give you a better understanding of the challenges involved in developing good public policy and why governments sometimes fail to make the right choices.

This program provides students with a multidisciplinary understanding of the environment, the economy and the interaction between the two.

International Economics and Development

The International Economics and Development program is built on a variety of economics courses that provide insight into the way in which globalization affects individuals, industry, the public sector and entire nations. The understanding it provides of economic concepts is framed by an awareness of the factors that shape economic development in both emerging and developing countries.
