Message from the Program

We know that, even with funding, the rising cost of living and broader economic changes can make finances a real challenge for students. This document was developed by a Clinical Psychology program RA (Hanya Ismail) in consultation with another program RA (Ghizlène Sehabi) and the Clinical Program Director, and is intended as a centralized resource to help you navigate available information and options. At the same time, we want to acknowledge that some choices are constrained by program policies and CPA accreditation standards (e.g., limits on work outside the program). If you are finding things particularly difficult, we invite you to reach out to any of the program leadership (Program Director, Coordinators of Practica/Internship) or any professor with whom you feel comfortable talking. While we may not be able to solve everything, we are always open to talking things through, making additional suggestions, and exploring what supports or arrangements might be possible.
