SSHRC Insight Grant
The SSHRC Insight Grants program supports research excellence in the social sciences and humanities, advancing knowledge and understanding of individuals, communities and societies.
Dr. Michael Seto(Psychiatry/ IMHR) received $345K over 4 years for the project "Testing dyadic and family factors to explain incest across types of relationships." The research will expand understanding of family and relationship dynamics associated with intrafamilial sexual offending across a broader range of familial relationships. The findings will generate new knowledge to support evidence-informed assessment, treatment and prevention strategies, helping to inform policy and professional practice.
