The University of Ottawa coordinates official visits by delegations from international institutions in line with the University of Ottawa's overall international strategy and objectives and visits with the participation of senior representatives (e.g., President, Vice-Presidents, Deans, Ambassadors).
Dr. Connell Monette is a distinguished academic, researcher and university executive dedicated to fostering global collaboration. Fluent in English, French and Moroccan Arabic, he excels in fostering international partnerships that enhance educational and cultural exchanges.
Prior to joining the University of Ottawa, he held executive and teaching roles at Al Akhawayn University and American Academy Casablanca in Morocco, as well as the University of Toronto.
Dr. Monette holds a BA in classical studies from the University of Ottawa and an MA and PhD in medieval studies, from the University of Toronto.
