Professor Daly, whose research focuses on administrative and public law,argued the case brought forward by Democracy Watch, which challenged the Ethics Commissioner’s decision that former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was not in a conflict of interest when the Government of Canada handed out a major contract to the (now disbanded) WE Charity. WE Charity is an organization that was closely linked to the Trudeau family.
