Sexual Violence: Support and Prevention

The University of Ottawa is committed to maintaining a campus that promotes respect for the dignity of every individual, and a community that is free from sexual violence. Sexual violence will not be tolerated.

Prevention of sexual violence

The University has policies, practices and services in place to help safeguard the well-being of all members of its community.

Incidents of sexual violence should be reported to uOttawa Human Rights Office or to Protection Services.

Students or employees who wish to lodge a sexual violence complaint should be directed to the Human Rights Office, which provides neutral and confidential services. It may refer individuals to campus-based or off-campus services where appropriate.
