The partnership agreement will see the Faculty of Education work closely with multiple Moroccan institutions, including the École Normale Supérieure de Casablanca, the Ecole Supérieure d’Education et de Formation de Berrechid, the Université Mohammed V de Rabat and the regional teacher training centres in Marrakech and Dakhla.
“This strategic partnership will strengthen Morocco–Canada co-operation, with a focus on training, research and digital innovation.”

It allows the Center’s vast network to tap into the Faculty of Education’s expertise to support transformative, ethical education initiatives.
As part of the partnership, the Faculty of Education will run a continuing education pilot project, strengthen teaching staff’s instructional and scholarly abilities, and conduct joint research projects. It will also leverage its expertise to provide guidance for Moroccan inspectors and training staff.
The Moroccan Center for Civic Education, meanwhile, will share its training expertise, its education network and its virtual campus — an AI platform that incorporates several advanced models. This technology will support remote learning, professional development and teaching innovation.
As another outcome of the agreement, an international bilingual (French and English) conference will be held in Casablanca from January 25 to 29, 2027. The theme will be “Lifelong learning in the era of post-globalization and artificial intelligence: Ensuring inclusive, high-quality education for all.”
This partnership aligns perfectly with the Faculty of Education’s internationalization strategy. The strategy aims to develop lasting collaborations, promote lifelong learning and improve the international visibility of the Faculty’s work on educational innovation.
