Accessing and submitting your service requests in uoZone

At different points in their program, graduate students need to submit electronic requests and documents for their supervisor or academic unit.

You can submit a service request through the student portal, uoZone. The request could take 10 to 20 business days to process.

Plan ahead so processing delays don’t impact your enrolment.

How can I access my service requests?  

  1. Under the “Applications” tab in uoZone, select Service Requests.
  2. The “My Service Requests” screen will appear. If you haven’t created any service requests yet, the service request table will be empty.

How can I create a new service request?

  1. Under the “Applications” tab in uoZone, select Service Requests.
  2. On the “My Service Requests” screen, select Create New Request.
  3. Under “Select a Request Category,” select the appropriate category: Enrolment related, Research related or General. Then, select Next.
  4. Select the request type you’d like to create, and then select Next. Important: You might need to select View All to see the full list of request types.
  5. If necessary, select the request subtype.
  6. Under “File Attachments,” select Add Attachment (if you need to add one), choose the file you want to add, and select Upload.
  7. Enter any comments you have in the comment box.
  8. Select Submit.

How can I view or update my service requests?

  1. Under the “Applications” tab in uoZone, select Service Requests.
  2. Your service requests are displayed in a table with the columns “Request Number,” “Request Type,” “Request Subtype,” “Request Date,” “Status” and “Status Date.”
  3. To view more information about a service request or to update it, find and select the request in the “Request Type” column.
  4. “My Request Detail” displays your service request. From here, you can view, add or update comments and view any attachments submitted with the request.
  5. To add a comment, select Add Comment. To update a previous comment, select Update Last Comment.
  6. To view an attachment, select View next to it.
  7. To save your changes, select Save, or to return to “My Service Requests,” select Cancel.
