The University of Ottawa Heart Institute is one of Canada’s largest cardiac centers. With over 1700 yearly cardiac surgical cases, the largest TAVI volume in Canada, an expanding structural cardiology program, and an active MCS and cardiac transplantation program, and a 26-unit cardiac surgical ICU, we are well suited to meet all of your academic fellowship needs. Patient care and clinical teaching remain the predominant strength of our program. With dedicated medical educators and some of the most advanced medical imaging and surgical technologies available, we are well equipped to keep pace with the rapid expansion of cardiac care in the next decade.
